Strong Adolfo’s Wadebridge, Nr the Royal Cornwall show ground.
Strong Adolfo’s Wadebridge is much fancier version than your stereotypical roadside diner.
Let’s start with the view: It’s green, very green and gorgeous – especially on a sunny Sunday morning! If you’re escaping the city, or simply love a countryside view, then this is the place for you.
Generally, it has a contemporary industrial vibe inside but it does have a relaxed surfer feel as well – you’ll see what I mean when you get there!

It was quite busy when we got there and people were coming and going the whole time. The lovely lunch we had consisting of a super fresh pea and mint soup with a big chunk of sourdough and a yummy Cornish ham and Davidstow cheese toastie with a side salad. We finished it all off with two Origin coffee flat whites.
We enjoyed all of this after having a browse around the shops that are on the same complex (a feature about the shops will be posted on the ‘shopping’ section soon). The food really was delicious. The menu was wonderfully varied, with specials that change daily.
The service was friendly, fresh and fast. One thing to remember, is that you help yourself to cutlery and water, so be sure to grab what you need before your food arrives to help save all important hot-food minutes! You can choose to eat or drink in the tabled area, window bench seats or the relaxed sofa seating and there are also benches outside.
One thing I love is music, so when a venue has a great playlist it makes a huge difference to the overall vibe in the room. Strong Adolfo’s had a really great playlist; I especially loved the few Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye tracks that I hadn’t heard in a while.
